Ithilin's Comics

Simply because there wasn't much else to call it, that's what its being called from now on.  Ithilin's Universe is the collective storyline where the following comic series take place in- Godsrage! The Comics!, Deformers, The DUKES of Xlink, Gadgetry and Worlds Collide!  Its been fun being able to use the same characters over and over again over the years, but this series was dieing, with nothing else planned to take place in its continuity except for the Worlds Collide! miniseries, which brings characters from other comics into Ithilin's Universe for a brief bit.  Ian7's recent investment in the canon has renewed interest in me, and I'm starting a new ongoing series entitled "Ithilin's Universe".  It won't be any League of Villainy, but it will be ongoing whenever I have material.   Here's a brief explanation of the evolution of the series.-

Godsrage- My first comic series, started out featuring fellow clan members in crazy disfunctional situations, still one of my best series IMO, but it all happened before I got serious with writing, let alone web comics.  Inspired by Energonprimerules' "Rextrax Sucks" picture edit comics.  If you're reading this, thanks so much you've inspired a legacy.

Deformers- A sort of in betweener using the mix and match parts of my "Heroes of Cybertron" Transformers figures.  Some Transformers randomly warp into Ithilin's Universe and start fighting, before they get into the thick of an extra dimensional battle.  They do leave though, and get some help from some ex-Godsrage members as they make shameless plug cameos.

The DUKES- A series that had more planned for it, but never really developed.  Started late in the life of a Halo 2/PC/CE clan, its first issue was decent, but the second one was the real whizbang.  A major crossover with fellow clan member and all around awesome guy Spuzzum's comic series The Misadventures of Youisafoo.  It ended up being REALLY long, and b/c most of it was tweaking sprites from Innerrayg's Halo kit and making them work in the comic.  It took 8 months, and was really tedious, but the end product turned out to be awesome, to bad it didn't get out until AFTER the clan had shut down.

Gadgetry- A side series spawned during The Dukes, it was meant to be filler between lengthy Dukes issues.  But the first issue was nothing more than a horribly comical advertisement, I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I wrote it XD  Still, I knew the series had hope, and was able to end it on a pretty epic note, I consider the past three issues to also be some of my best comic works.

Worlds Collide!- A mini series created in celebration of my 100th webcomic.  Right now, its supposed to be anywhere between 3 and 4 issues and will be totally awesome (of course I say this now *eyeroll*).  While it takes place in a post Dukes setting in Ithilin's Universe, it will gather major characters from EVERY series I've done, and plenty from friend's series, so stay tuned. 

Ithilin's Universe- A minute ongoing that takes place sometime around The City by Ian7, but is not limited to that time frame.  This is a new series, and the only bit of the Universe I'm in control of now.  There's some communication between me and Ian7 over what's happened in his comics and mine to try and avoid continuity errors.

Ian7 has now taken the helm of the IU storyline with several new series of his own:

Wiseguys- Ian7's first comic series in the traditional picture format.  The story is told from the point of view of two lost surfer types who just can't help but get themselves into trouble.

BFM- A comic in the same style as Godsrage, based on a Halo PC clan Ian7 was a part of.  Ian7's involvement in said clan dissovled but the series merged with Wiseguys and continued in...

The City- Basically BFM with the same characters (plus the Wiseguys) and a new name, this story when completed will tie up all of Ian7's story threads and lead the comic into...

Scrubs- A subclan Ian7 helmed, with a short comic series that eventually merges into...

Herd- The current clan Ian7 is in, and the most recent Ithilin's Universe storyline series, this series will feature characters from The City, Wiseguys, Godsrage, and Scrubs as well as new original Herd based characters.

Note: The Ithilin's Universe SERIES was spawned after this flow chart, so its not on there yet.  But I'd put it somewhere between Gadgetry and Wiseguys.

Inspired by EnergonPrimeRules "Retrax Sucks!" series I decided to put my long dead comic skills back to work in the form of a webcomic based on my clan and their disfunctional antics around the time of Halo 2's release.

A Transformers parody series set in the same story universe as Godsrage was. Transformers fans will notice several jokes from the fandom, including the Shockblast VS Shockwave name change, as well as cameos of smaller Transformers figurines outside of the Heroes of Cybertron line.  Somehow the last few panels of the second part were lost, they were re-taken and added a year later, so the scenery doesn't jive well.

The true sequel to the Godsrage series, based on a new clan I was in, and only a small portion of its members that wanted to be in the comic.  It turned out very short, while Issue #2 is probably the longest and most tiresome comic I've ever worked on.

Issue 1 was done while I was stuck in a TLF for a couple weeks during the summer, so yeah, I got BORED.  But I tried to improve it as much as I could, to save the series from the train wreck that it had become (selling myself short in an advertisement? C'mon!).  I've finished all that I currently have planned for this series, but since the ending is open, I could expand.

Worlds Collide! is like an open bar fight, where anything and everything can happen.  The first issue is my 100th webcomic (cheers to 100 more!) and the series will feature major heroes and villains from every comic series I've done, as well as guest appearences from friend's characters.  This section was kind of rushed into production, so check back later for a more refined version.

Yes, an actual series named after the over-arcing fiction (finally).  The first three or so issues will explain a reference to a "favor" that will be made later in the Herd comics, but the series is currently on hold indefinately.  The rest of it is open, so who knows what could come out of this catch-all series.

The comic was originally about a clan called BFM (Beg For Mercy). But due to complications the name was dropped and the story was continued in "The City". It is about a group of spartans trying to get back to their normal size. The story introduces several elements that would be used heavily in later IU comics, like the Brute Mafia.

The City picks up where BFM dropped due to name issues, setting the seeds for newer series. It introduces main characters later used in the Herd and Scrub comics.  The numbering starts where BFM stopped.

The Scrubs is a comic about Ian7 and his former clan. The main story is a war between the Herd clan and the Scrubs. The story arc and series concludes in issues 7 and 8. Which are the same as Herd issues 7 and 8. The series ends there, and the characters and other elements of the story are continued on in Herd.

This is about the clan that Ian7 is currently a part of. The original story arc starts off with the Scrubs and Herd fighting in a war. But it concluded when two military orginazations the EOD's and ODST's intervien. And it turns into a mystery of what the two orginazations are up too. And Herd is caught up in the middle trying to discover right from wrong. Past characters from "The City", and other IU series make guest apperances.
